Just a quick note to let you know I AM still around and I am still trying to find time to get some stamping done but Summer IS upon us now and I am taking full advantage of all the fun stuff that comes with it. 

Rylan and Kendra LOVE being outside every chance they get and I am taking full advantage of going to my parents Lake House as much as possible.  Rylan can’t figure out why Momma and Poppa have TWO houses but he knows that he loves the trailer and his special little bed he has out there.

July also means it’s time for the Calgary Stampede and being born and raised on Calgary, I STILL love to go every year at least once. It’s even better now that we have kids.  Seeing it through their eyes makes it that much better.  For those of you who have never experienced it…….It’s worth a trip to Calgary during the 1st 2 weeks of July……make a family va-cay of it sometime if you can!!!!

My clubs have stopped for the summer but I already have a list of ladies ready to start in September and I have some great new ideas for clubs this year!!  I have had new business cards printed with a "punch card" printed on the back.  Kinda like your typical coffee card…..For every $20 you spend, I punch one of the squares on the back and when you fill a card (10 punches), you get $10 in SU dollars on ME!!!.

So please be patient with me during the Summer as I may not be updating as often as I should. I am working on some great projects that I will be selling at my parents lake house community craft sale in September and I hope to post photos of them for you.  I am also getting started on Rylan’s 4th birthday party plans and he is set on a "Lighting McQueen" party….so I have purchased the cake pan and the cricut cartridge and will be very busy making invites and other party needs.

So take Care and ENJOY the summer….before we know it, it will be "Back to school"….and stamping!!!

For those that are interested, I have decided to make our final club meeting in conjunction with the retired auction.  So please feel free to stop in between 8:30pm and 9:30pm on Friday June 12th. I will hold my Friday ladies final meeting from 7-8:30pm and then we will head upstairs for some munchies, specials and of course the auction.  My fingers are crossed that I will get the NEW catalgoue in time to let you have a peek…..the NEW In Colours will also be available….for the first time ever in MARKERS!!!! that’s right ladies….you will be able to order all 6 In Colours in markers. 

I will be giving details about the new Punch card program I am starting as well as the new clubs that will begin in September.  Those that decide to join the club in the fall will recieve a NEW Catalgoue for FREE.  For those of you that are unsure about the clubs, you may pre-order a catalogue on Auction night for just $5 (with a $30min order).  Otherwise, you may pre-order a catalogue for just $10!!!

Please let me know if you would like to attend so I can ensure I have enough food prepped.

I’m sorry I have been out of touch for a while as we are working on our new deck (that is almost done).  After the long weekend we will be able to relax and enjoy or NEW double-deck.  I can’t WAIT!!!

Anyway, Mother’s Day flew by but I did enjoy being with my family, watching the kids play and Rylan "help" Kirk building today…….so sweet.  I am making plans to catch up on some projects I have been dying to try over the long weekend and it may mean locking myself in my workshop Saturday….and Sunday if my hubby is okay with it heehee.

I can’t believe I forgot to post that is was release day for RBD yesterday!!!……April really got away on me and after completing the tutor training I have been busy pretty much every evening of the week!  I tutor Mon/Wed and work at Sobey’s on Tues/Sat/Sun, Rylan skates Thursday nights with Kirk and Friday……well I think that might be the one night I have to do "nothing" ….LOL  We started building the deck today and I can’t wait to unwind on it with stiff drink……..heaven knows I will need one by the end of May.

Anyway, head over to Renaissance By Design to see her NEW RELEASES!!!  I will be posting some cards in the next week……I just need to get through this weekend.
