The new Spring /Summer Catalogue is here and it is BEAUTIFUL!!!! There are a few price changes on certain items…some up and some down so it all works out. They have TONS of new Sizzix dies as well as some other cool things to use in the Big Shot. New stamps, ribbon embellies, card kits, Designer paper, tools. ……Sigh….so many great things, how to decide what goes at the top of my wish list.
Also, your Sale-a-Bration brochure should be in your mailbox(club members) if you don’t receive one by the end of the week please let me know and I will get one to you. If you would like a catalogue, please let me know as I will be putting an order through for some more later this week.
Cheers!

I created this cute litte gift set using RBD’s Bee-Mail set.

I started with the tissue paper and that pretty much inspired the rest of the gift ideas. Obviously I wanted to go with a honey theme, so I included some honey sticks that I made toppers for, as well as some matchbook tea folders. I made some poured candles using Devon’s tutorial and covered the lid of the tin with the same little topper.

In keeping with the "Bee" theme, I added a few "Burt’s Bees" lip balms and packaged the whole gift in one of RBD’s clear takeout boxes.

Finally, I needed to include a card, so I used the technique I learned at Convention last summer and thought it was perfect! I will also be using this technique on a few other cards, so keep watching. I made a velcro medallion closure on the front and continued the black, white, yellow theme using RBD’s "Mulan" designer paper. Below are a few shots of the card open.

Hope you enjoyed this project…..I had a "buzzin’" good time coming up with it!!

I made this card because I LOVE the colours of Fall…..I know it will be a while before I have a need for this type of card but I am posting for you to see the versatility of RBD’s newest set Roots & Wings. I used a spectrum pad to get the multi-colour look but you could use any colours you like.
