They are 6 and almost 4 and have never been on a plane.  They made a trip with me and my mom to the 2008 SU Convention to Salt Lake City but both were small and we DROVE.  So there is going to be some serious excitement on Sunday.  I am hoping to let the flight attendants reveal where we are going and more important…I am hoping that I can catch it on video and not be bawling while I do.

We have been saving for well over a year for this trip and have a jam-packed week planned full of rides, characters, a princess make-over and even making a day trip to Lego Land for my 6 year old boy.  I can't begin to tell you how crazy about Lego he is!!!  My little "Princess" is booked in with her "Fairy Godmother in training" on Tuesday morning to transform her into the Princess of her choice…..I have NO doubt that it will be Rapunzel, as I get a re-enactment of the show on a daily basis!!! She is a one-girl show.  Kirk and I can't wait to see the looks on their faces when we arrive at the park and I plan to capture every moment……and hopefully get it into a scrapbook someday….LOL.  For those of you  that know me….this may or may not happen before they leave home :0) 

 

We will return on the 19th and I will try and post a few of my favorite pictures.

32 hours of driving, 7 days of +28 degree heat, and LOTS of memories later……….

All set for our 1st day of the 2 day drive……..

Registration starts October 1st for this super CUTE Christmas Class that you won't want to miss.

You will complete 3 "houses" for your village using a variety of designer papers, embellishments, ribbons.

 

Date: Sunday, November 6th

Time: 10am-4pm

Location: My workshop

Cost: $30/per house trio

 

RSVP: PRIOR to October 1st to ensure I have time to order supplies and prepare your class packages.

 

 

I am also taking custom orders to make these house sets for those that would rather not have to make them themselves.  Papers and colours may vary.

 

It's NEVER too early to get ready for Christmas!!!….It's less than 4 months away!

We met some wonderful ladies, got some great swaps, had some amazing mexican food and did some serious shopping. We also saw some fantastic scenery along our journey and saw some upcoming product that you are going to LOVE!!! All of the above and a 30+ hour drive that helped strengthen an already wonderful friendship.  Thanks for a great "Moms week away" Janet!

 

At this Thursday's final Club meeting we will share some of the above mentioned as well as make a card using a stamp set with matching punch that I WON and will be available in the Holiday Mini September 1st and trust me……you are going to want it ALL!!! Dies, DSP and fabric OH MY!

 

Clubs will be starting up again in September so if you have not advised me that you would like to join again….please contact me to be placed in a club. I have clubs running in both the South and North end of town so no matter where you are, you can be a part of one.

SU has come out with new Grab Bags of clearance goodies….

a $6 bag will contain aprox. $24 worth of Clearance items (chipboard, DSP, ribbon, accents)

a $12 bag will contain aprox. $48

and an $18 bag will contain aprox. $72

**the bags will NOT contain any stamp sets or tools.

 

They have also added many additional items to the Clearance Rack…including retired marker families, ribbon, DSP, Scrap kits…and more!!!

Please remember that you must either place an order for these items online through my www.stampwithamber.stampinup.net website or wait until I have a group order going through.  It may be even better to get a group together and one person place the order so you can share the shipping costs.

We had a successful visit with Santa yesterday and got a great photo to prove it.  The tree has been trimmed, stockings have been hung and the kids have an ongoing list for santa that changes based on the commercials they see…….poor Santa, can't keep up :0)

 

Clubs will be taking a break until January where we will take advantage of the early start of Sale-a-Bration on January 25th.  The Occasions Mini should be arriving at Club members doors this week and you can start ordering from it on January 4th.  You can view it online for those that don't get one in the mail.  There is a "Love" promotion that starts today and runs until January 24th but since we won't be placing our next Club order until after the 25th you will need to contact me over the next month if you would like to purchase anything from this promotion.  You can link to it on the right side of my website main page.
