Well, we are 3 sleeps away from my 8th Retreat. I can't believe that I have been doing this for 4 years. I tackled my first one with my girl friends in the Fall of 2006 and it has grown ever since.  Over the years there have been 9 pregnant ladies (including me). I think there were 4 at the first one!!!. I have met some new ladies and have also had some of my friends and customers attend every one! My Mom is the greatest and I can't thank her enough for all the work she puts into each weekend, she keeps the girls coming back wondering what the next "Big Giveaway" is going to be and we keep it under tight wraps until the first night….and this weekend is NO exception…sorry ladies, no spoilers. I will post a pic of all of us after the weekend.

Mom is taking pics of the past items we have done and I hope to get them on here soon.

The basement looks so empty with everything in boxes ready to go……here's hoping I don't forget anything!!

I know…….Class parties are over by now but I DID take pictures of them so I wanted to share!!

So I found these CUTE heart-shaped ceramic dishes at Michaels….of course!! I then hit up my good "friend" Betty Crocker for her Cherry-Chip cake mix and poured the batter into the 2 dishes. Popped them into a cello bag, and added a personalized tag and DONE!……I turned the remaining batter into cupcakes for Kendra’s class.

I had already ordered SU’s "Love Bots" mini box valentines for Rylan to give to his classmates after I filled them with 4 heart-shaped chocolates that I spent Tuesday making………The things Mommies do for their kiddies.

For those of you who have attended my All-day Scraps before, I will be holding my Spring one on Saturday April 10th but it will be a little different. 

Some of you already know that I lost my best friend and past downline member, Kelly on Nov. 19 to complications of Lupus.  She was a treasured friend for 20 years and we both shared a love of crafts and stamping. She owned her own natural baby product line called Nature’s Baby Basket and was the beloved wife and mother of 2 boys aged 2 and 7. She will be dearly missed by a great deal of people.

I have decided that this All-Day Scrap will be a dedication to her, I am calling it "Krop for Kelly". It will run the same way as the past scrap days with a pot luck for the meals, as well as prizes, challenges, LOTS of scrap time (9am-midnight) and even a  "garage sale" table.  After the hall rental costs are covered the remaining proceeds will be going to a trust fund for Kelly’s boys….they have a very long road ahead of them and I would like to help in any way I can.

I am looking for donations that I can use for raffle draw items so if you or someone you know would like to make a contribution, please feel free to contact me.

The donation cost for each person for the WHOLE day is only $40 and 100% of the raffle draw proceeds are also going to the trust fund.  If you decide to place an order on this day I will have customer specials with my sales profits being donated as well.

Contact me for your registration form, payment is required by Feb. 15th. Due to the nature of the event, I’m sorry by there will not be refunds given. You may find a replacement for your spot though.
